St. Jardim: A Hidden Gem in New York's West Village

Excellent food. Unique wine list. Wonderful service and cool atmosphere.

Amazing dinner at St. Jardim! Thank you Anna for the great service and massive shout-out to the kitchen for the creative and delicious menu. Everything was perfect, each dish had a little something unique that made it that much more special. Can't wait to come back!

My absolute favorite breakfast spot. The yogurt and egg plate are superb, in a city of cheugy breakfast spots, this restaurant is delicious, elegant, and so so warm. I only wish they had good coffee, they try to do too much with the coffee, a bit acidic. I hope they fix this, the spot is amazing except for that. Maybe turky bacon or duck bacon too, but thats being picky.

The salad was delicious, and the bread was high quality. Our waitress was very kind, skillfully moving us inside when outside seating rules didn’t allow rearranging chairs. Cozy bar, lively vibe — loud but adds charm!

Great cozy vibes. Menu changes often and we loved all the bites we got. Interesting wine selection and recommendations were spot on. We spent $90 pp for 2 glasses and enough food to make us stuffed! Don’t miss the cavatelli or bread pudding.

Loved the small plates we had to shared. The Ricotta Toast was really good. The wine we were recommended for was good too (we are new to natural wine or any wine at all) love the music and ambience.

Reviewing my last review. I’m glad I returned to SJNYC. They have a wonderful and extensive wine list which if they have a bottle open will let you taste and give you a thorough description on the wines which is nice. The place is bustling and always quite busy which is why I had to try it out so I would suggest making a reservation if you can although they do accept walk-ins. I had the BLT on baguette bread which was a fabulous twist on a classic sandwich. Great coffee too. The bar area does get cosy when it’s busy and can be a little tricky to eat so do mind that when coming if busy but amazing opportunity to have a drink and chat with other solo diners as I did. I’ll be back again during my next trip. For breakfast and dinner and will certain put on my list of recommendations when visiting NYC. It looks like it’s a great spot for people watching if you’re lucky enough to sit outside/by the window. *Try their orange wine Thank you

We always have a great experience at St Jardim. The menu is excellent with a good range and everything we had was really well done. The service is always very attentive and helpful, especially with the wine selection which has nice depth. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, which makes it a comfortable place to spend an evening.
